Poat Match

 I am 70s graduate with lot of surgical experience;ECFMG certified with just passing scores. Working in US but no hands on clinical experience. Planning to get some experience in the next few months. But I wil be late for regular NRMP. Want to register with ERAS and try in post match scramble. I understand from the discussions in the forum that one has to register with ERAS and apply for at least one position in order to get access to unmatched positions. Hope my understanding is right. Can Bansal, Anatolyk or any one else advise me.

This is right. But I would still try the match. Being a graduate from the 70's you will have a very low chance in the scramble. Programs would want to talk to you face to face first.
